Description
Lela Mae Holshouser, 13, and Charles Volz, 12, both of whom were saved from drowning at Sylvania Park swimming pool. "Lela Mae Holshouser, 13, and Charles Volz, 12 Monday afternoon both were mighty happy and rather contemptuous of the cardboard black cat Charles is shown holding after both children has been saved from drowning at Sylvania Park Swimming Pool. They live in Haltom City." Ms. Holshouser, left, is seen laying in bed underneath a blanket. She is wearing a striped shirt, has curly hair, and is looking to her left as she smiles at Mr. Volz. Mr. Volz, right, is seen sitting on the edge of the bed Ms. Holshouser is laying in. He is wearing a button up shirt with a butterfly like pattern on it, and pants. He is holding a cardboard black cat that is smiling happily with it's back arched. Mr. Volz is looking at Ms. Holshouser and is smiling broadly. On the bed a white sheet can be seen with two pillows behind Ms. Holshouser. In the background a few photos are above the bed, and an open window can be seen on the right side of the photograph with sheer curtains.
