Description

Members of the senior class of Laneri High School who received diplomas at exercises at the Woman's Club last week. They are, front row, left to right, Carl Johnson, James Villalobos, Gerard Quinn, Martin Creagan and Billy Shaw. Back row, same order, Erwin Phenix, valedictorian; Adrian Haubert, Raymond O'Flaherty, and Harold Manning, salutatorian. The front row is sitting on chairs and the back row is standing. There is a United States flag hanging from a vertical flag pole. Johnson, Villalobos, Creagan, Shaw are wearing light-colored graduation cap and gowns. Quinn, Phenix, Haubert, O'Flaherty, and Manning are wearing dark-colored graduation cap and gowns. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 5, 1942.
