Description

Sylvanie Garden Club flower show attendees Mrs. O. V. Campbell (left) and Mrs. E. J. Deason. The two women are shown standing in front of each other with a wooden table and a shrub between them. Mrs. Campbell holds one of the shrub's leaves as Mrs. Deason holds the base of the plant. Both women are wearing short-sleeve dresses, however Mrs. Deason's dress has a floral pattern and a bow on the front of it. Both are also wearing dark heels. Behind them are a few small chairs arrayed near the table. Mrs. Deason was the show chairman and won first prize, which was the shrub. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 18, 1942.
