Description
Lodge officials inspecting old charter here. Hugh M. Craig, left, worshipful master of Fort Worth Masonic Lodge No. 148, and Claud L. Austin of Dallas, grand senior warden of the Grand Lodge of Texas, Tuesday night inspected a framed copy of the charter issued to the Fort Worth Lodge. The charter was issued Jan. 18, 1855. The lodge is the oldest such institution in the county. The men are holding and looking at the framed charter held between them; each are wearing suits and masonic aprons. They are standing in front of a huge fireplace. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 15, 1942.
