Exhibition of the work of Emily Guthrie Smith. Shown is a portrait of Gail Potts by Emily Guthrie Smith. The portrait shows a young Gail seated in a striped armchair. Gail is wearing a dress with lace detailing around her collar and has her elbow resting on the arm of the chair. The portrait is framed. This was one of the portraits included in the exhibition of the work of Miss Smith. The showing of portraits of Fort Worth children is scheduled for opening at a Junior League sponsored tea in the studio of Brooks Morris on Sunset Terrace. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition April 10, 1942.
