    Description

Seventeenth and eighteenth century English manor houses provided the inspiration for the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley A. Thompson. The architecture is late Elizabethan and the interior and furnishings are eighteenth century, with adaptations. Mrs. Thompson’s bedroom is the only departure from the English tradition. It is Louis XV in inspiration. This is a formal bedroom decorated in French style. The room has a bed, two end tables with lamps, chairs, and a chandelier hanging above the center of the room.
