Description
The Consolidated Aircraft plant has organized their first athletic team. The "Bomber" baseball team is playing in the amateur Major City League. The players are left to right, top row, Charles Womack, Asa Short, Roy Miller, Laurence Armstrong, Manager Tex Carleton, Bill Sodd, R. H. Foster, and Lefty Douglas. Kneeling on the bottom row are Harrell Hunnicutt, R. G. Rucker, John Foster, Bill Nelms, Jimmy Hukill, James Patterson, Pat McCoy and Lee Stebbins. The players are dressed in their baseball uniforms, consisting of a hat, a jersey with "Bombers" across the chest, baseball pants, and striped socks.
