Description
The Red Cross is hosting home nursing classes. Pictured, left to right, are Mrs. L. S. Byrd and Mrs. S. R. Lanier. Mrs. Byrd is learning the proper methods for handling a baby by practicing on a doll. She is wearing a button-up blouse, blazer, and a plaid skirt. Mrs. Lanier is teaching the class. She is dressed in a nurse's uniform. Since the war started, 682 women have studied home nursing.
