Description
The solarium at the Stanley and Clara Thompson residence. Seventeenth and eighteenth century English manor houses provided the inspiration for the home. The architecture is late Elizabethan and the interior and furnishings are eighteenth century, with adaptations. The solarium room is decorated with a rubber tree and some other plants, and framed portraits on the wall. It has a large picture window, framed in a bougainvillea vine.
