    Description

    W. Louis Armstrong, right, retiring superintendent of the Fort Worth, Texas, Swift and Company plant, at a farewell dinner given in his honor at Hotel Texas. With him are J. O. Gunn, left, who will succeed Armstrong as superintendent of the plant, and J. H. Hall, center, general manager. Armstrong is being moved to Chicago, Illinois, to take over duties as superintendent of the Swift parent plant. The three men are shown standing next to each other in front of an empty wall. Hall has his arms around Armstrong's and Gunn's shoulders. Hall looks to his left while Armstrong and Gunn look at each other. All three are wearing suits and Hall is wearing eyeglasses.
