Description
Mary Curlee, 21-year-old ex-stenographer turned "delivery boy" for the Lakeview Grocery. She is shown riding the delivery bicycle. Miss Curlee is wearing a dark, buttoned up jacket with a pair of trousers as she starts riding her bike away from Lakeview Grocery. She is also wearing a pair of eyeglasses. In the bicycle basket are the groceries she is delivering, including a loaf of Mrs. Baird's bread and bottle of milk. Behind her, the Grocery storefront can be seen with a basket of mops set outside one of the store's windows. There is a parked car in front of the store, at right. Miss Curlee is a graduate of Polytechnic High School and the daughter of Mrs. Fleta Knight.
