The couple is looking at a newspaper together as the rest of the stack lays on Mr. Teal's lap. Mrs. Teal is wearing a short-sleeve, dark dress while Mr. Teal wears a striped dress shirt and and tie. Behind them is a wall with a floral-like pattern on it and two framed images hung up. Mrs. Teal's brother, 23-year old Lieutenant Samuel S. Pattillo, was killed recently in the Far East war zone. He was an Army Air Corps pilot and graduated from the University of Texas.
