Description
L. C. Williamson (left) and W. C. Dietz brushing the finishing coat of shellac on a hospital bed tray for soldiers. They are both holding up the wooden bed tray as they apply the finishing varnish. Williamson is wearing a pair of overalls with a long-sleeve, striped shirt underneath and Dietz is wearing a pair of belted trousers with his shirt tucked in. In front of them is a wooden table with two cans of different colored shellac and other pieces of wood on it. Behind them is a large wall shelf filled with tools and other various items. The room they're in belongs to R. W. Fender, who turned his basement into a woodworking area.
