Description

Employees of the new First National Bank at Grapevine, Texas, include, left to right, S. M. Payne and Edwin Sams. Payne is a cashier and Sams is an assistant cashier and clerk. The two men are standing in front of a wall. Payne is wearing a striped suit and a pair of eyeglasses and Sams is wearing a dark, double-breasted suit. Sams's hands are folded in front of him and Payne's are at his sides. Hanging on the wall behind them, at right, is a calendar (partially obscured).
