Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show visitors included, left to right, J. M. Rich, of Libert, Texas, and Clarence Scharbauer, of Midland, Texas. The two men are shown shaking hands in front of a blank wall. Rich and Scharbauer are both wearing dark suits and hats, however Scharbauer is wearing a bow tie and Rich is wearing a necktie. Rich is president of the Trinity Valley Exposition and Scharbauer is president of the Midland Fat Stock Show and Rodeo.
