Image shows The first executive session of the recently elected officers of the Petroleum Engineers Club of Fort Worth, Texas, was a luncheon at the Blackstone Hotel. At that time, plans were made for the Spring and Summer speaking programs of the club. The officers are, seated left to right, Joe Byron, of Gulf Oil Corporation, secretary-treasurer, J. F. Adkisson, of Sunray Oil Company, Lewis Finch, of Stanolind Oil and Gas Company, and A. H. Klep, of Sperry-Sun, vice presidents. Standing is W. F. Herbert, of Texas Company, club president. Byron, Adkisson, Finch and Klep are seated around a table that is set with plates, glasses and silverware. All the men are wearing suits. Mr. Herbert is standing between Mr. Adkisson and Mr. Finch with his hands on the back of their chairs. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition March 22, 1942.
