Description

Headed for for services in the military, are two locally owned craft. The first donations of civilian-owned motorboats asked for by naval distrcit headquarters for use in coastal and harbor patrolling. Sam B. Cantey's boat, "Sandra", moored at Eagle Mountain Lake. A fully closed 30 foot which has seen Gulf service. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram March 22, 1942.
