Description
Shown with the grand champion barrow of the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show are, left to right, Fred Cotten, past president of the Swine Breeders Association, who bred the pig, Vernon Edwards, owner of the pig, W. F. Martin, instructor of the Dowell Future Farmers of America, and Milt Withers, vice president of Globe Laboratories, buyer of the pig. The four men are kneeling behind the champion pig as it eats from something off the ground. They are all wearing suits and cowboy hats. Martin and Withers are also wearing eyeglasses. Cotten and Edwards are holding walking canes. Martin is smoking a cigar. The championship ribbon is draped over the pig's back.
