    Description

    Recognition of civic leadership was made by members of the Fort Worth District Dental Society Monday night as they observed the one-hundredth anniversary of the first dental anniversary of the first dental college at the Fort Worth Club. Dr. F. E. Garrison is shown presenting a plaque to Amon Carter, left, who was described as "our chosen first citizen." Also in the photo are Dr. Claude Ward, Jr., vice president of the society, standing at Dr. Garrison's left, and Dr. Eugene Brown, seated. The presentation are to be made by local dental societies at the end of each 100 years. Monday's presentations, by more than 300 societies, were the first of their kind.
