Description

Visiting the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show were a group of singers from Throckmorton, Texas. The singers are, left to right, back row, Billie Massey, Jackie Rankin, Sallie Lou Thorp and Carroll Wade Pouge; front row, G. B. McCarson and Beth Taylor. They each have a ribbon that says "Thockmorton" pinned onto their jackets. The men are wearing suits and the women are wearing blouses, blazers and skirts. Behind them, a sparkling, cutout star is hanging on the wall.
