Among visitors to the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show were T. O. Walton, president of Texas Agricultural and Mechanical College (A. & M.), and Private J. D. Avis, former A. & M. student now with the Veterinary Corps at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Walton has his left arm around Private Avis. He is wearing a dark, double-breasted suit and a hat. Private Avis is wearing his military uniform.
