Mrs. Joe Cross, food checker at Hotel Texas for seven years, shown with a pig. Mrs. Cross is knelt down with her pig in her arms and is smiling. She is wearing a cowboy hat, blouse, a jacket, trousers and a pair of boots. The pig has a small bow tied around it. Former co-workers of Mrs. Cross gave her the pig as a going-away present as she sets off for farm life. She and her husband have a 60-acre farm at Lake Worth, Texas. Mrs. Cross is the former Miss Frances Baker, daughter of Mrs. Mae Price of Denton, Texas.
