Description

Six young boys who will participate in the Brahma calf riding contest at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show. They are, left to right, Jimmy Millican, of Fort Worth, Texas; James Elder, of Lake Worth, Texas; Lloyd Hodgkins, of Lake Worth, Texas; Billy Stewart, of Fort Worth, Texas; Kenneth Elder, of Lake Worth, Texas, and Buddy Halliday. They are standing around a table, inspecting their riding numbers. On the table is a newspaper and a stack of riding numbers. An unidentified man is sitting at the table, at the far left. The boys are all wearing collared shirts and jeans. All except for Kenneth Elder and Buddy Halliday are wearing cowboy hats.
