Description
Thomas Leo Butler, of Fort Worth, Texas, who has entered the Air Corps, shown with one of his prized keepsakes--an airmail letter written by his father, T. G. Butler, and sent on the first flight inaugurating contract airmail service between Texas and Chicago, Illinois, on May 12, 1926. Mr. Butler is wearing a dark suit and standing in front of an empty wall. Along with the airmail letter, he is also holding an issue of the Star-Telegram dated May 12, 1926.
