    Description

There were many out-of-town visitors at the opening session of The Star-Telegram's annual Better Meals Cooking School at Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium. Two out-of-town visitors are pictured here. Left, Mrs. Leon G. Cloud and her daughter, Mrs. Code Edwards of Tyler, are delighted with some new recipes they've found in the cooking school booklet. The women are standing in front of an open refrigerator on display. In the background is a sign, "PHILCO." Mrs. Edwards is holding an open booklet in her gloved hands. She's wearing a light colored plaid jacket with light colored blouse, dark skirt and light colored pill box hat. Mrs. Cloud is wearing a dark suit with a two-toned bird brooch. She is also wearing a fedora hat with thin belt band. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, March 11, 1942.
