    Description

    Swift and Company's newly equipped bicycle brigade is lining up for their first inspection. The city salesmen abandoned automobiles to save cars and their tires for the government. Pictured left to right are City Sales Manager M. L. Angle, W. L. King, J. C. Hawkins, Don Willoughby, J. T. Montgomery, L. D. Marcellus, Robert Drusch, J. E. Jennings, and W. W. McAfee. The men are dressed in hats and suits. At 64 years old, Mr. McAfee is the oldest salesman on the bicycle brigade. He has been a Swift employee for 38 years.
