The three women are each holding a jar of preserved food. Mrs. Slemmons and Mrs. Rogers are both wearing long, dark coats with dresses underneath; Mrs. Hart is wearing a shorter jacket, a blouse, trousers and a cowboy hat. Behind the trio are several shelves lined with a variety of canned goods.
