    Description

Frank Metha, right, Fort Worth Cats third baseman, instructing Norman Olson, of Stoughton, Wisconsin, in the art of sliding at the Roger Hornsby Baseball School. Olson is shown sliding into the ground with his arms extended as Metha is knelt down and pointing at him. Olson appears to have come in so hard that he kicked the bag loose from it mooring. Both men are wearing their baseball uniforms. In the background, a large group of baseball players are shown standing off to the side and looking on at the lesson. The back of the bleachers can also be seen.
