"Shorty's Woodyard," lithograph by Hazel Fulton McGraw of Abilene, Texas wins the West Texas Chamber of Commerce third prize of $25 at the Fort Worth Art Association's West Texas Art Show. The event was held at the Fort Worth Public Library gallery. In the work, a man is using a large blade saw to cut logs while another man stacks them. There are two wooden houses in the background. This photograph was published in the March 4, 1942 morning edition of the Star-Telegram.
