Description
"Passing Conversation," a water color painting by Vera Wise of El Paso, Texas. won the Fair Store second prize of $25 at the Fort Worth Art Association's West Texas Art Show. The even was held at the Association's gallery in the Fort Worth Public Library. In middle front of the work are two young boys in conversation. Beside them is a gnarled tree, behind which is a house and a shed. On the left side of the painting are more trees, a stone wall and a man riding a bicycle. This photograph was published in the March 4, 1942 morning edition of the Star-Telegram.
