The Stamp Club officers of J. P. Elder Junior High School are shown meeting in a classroom. They are, left to right, Donald Pressley, Jerry Trimble, Marvin Foster, Richard Johnson, W. M. Strickland, Thomas Condon and Brackett Smith. Donald, Jerry, Marvin, and Richard are all auctioneers. W. M. is president, Thomas is vice president, and Brackett is the secretary. The Stamp Club meets every Tuesday to discuss, trade, and auction stamps. Miss Anna McGehee has sponsored the club for nine years. On the back wall of the classroom is a map of the world. The boys are all wearing collared shirts and trousers and are gathered around a desk.
