    Description

    "Mexican Woman," an oil painting by Edmund Kinzinger of Waco, Texas won the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show first place prize at the Fort Worth Art Associations annual West Texas Art Show. The Show was held in the gallery at the Fort Worth Public Library. The painting is of a Mexican woman wearing a shawl and carrying a basket of fruit. Behind her is a village with mountains in the background. The painting is in a white painted wood frame. This photograph was published in the March 4, 1942 morning edition of the Star-Telegram.
