Description
Two Points: Championship basketball game on Friday night between Texas Wesleyan College (T. W. C.) and Abilene Christian College (A. C. C.). Hazen Ward, number 55, Texas Wesleyan College player, making a basket while Leon Reese, Abilene Christian College Wildcat guard, attempts to stop him. This shot put Texas Wesleyan College in the lead at 18-14 just before halftime. Player at far right, number 37, from Abilene Christian College is unidentified. The players are wearing their team uniforms. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 9, 1940.
