Description
The Southwestern Exposition and Track Meet kicked off Friday in Fort Worth, Texas. For the first time, runners will be mechanically timed. Shown with part of the delicate mechanism is its inventors G. L. Ledingham, left, and E. P. Haltom. They call the device a "Trackometer". Mr. Ledingham is wearing a three piece suit. Mr. Haltom is dressed in a hat and a three piece suit. He is holding a starting pistol in his right hand.
