North Side High School's yell leaders, who will sponsor their fourth Pep Prom at the school gymnasium at 8:30 PM Friday. All other cheer leaders of District 7-AA will be honor guests. The hosts are, left to right, Billy Smith, Billy Joe Martin, Miss Frances Schober, sponsor; Billibert Williams, Jo Dee Long, Bettie Lou White, Roe Clayton, head yell leader, and Jimmy Garrison, kneeling. Not in the picture are Jane and Jean Walker. The students are wearing jacket uniform with attached appliques North Side High School yell leaders' logo (an "N" pierced with a megaphone). Jo Dee and Bettie Lou are holding a sign advertising the prom, which reads: "Attend! Annual Pep Prom North Side Hi-Gym. Friday Feb. 20th 6:30-11:30 25¢ each, Tommy Fisher's Orch." Billibert and Jimmy are both pointing at the sign, while Roe rests both his hands on a giant megaphone, smiling and looking into the camera.
