Description
Nine year old Patricia Mulvey, is sitting on the floor, playing with a family of eight English Springer Spaniel puppies. The puppies are five weeks old. Their mother, Lucky Jingles was judged best of the English Springer Spaniel at the dog show in 1938. The father is Boc Boy. The name of the breed is derived from the manner in which they were formerly trained to spring at game. The puppies are owned by Patricia's parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Mulvey. Patricia is wearing a hat and a coat. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 9, 1940.
