    Description

    The 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament was held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. The winners of the eight weight classes are shown standing in a line against the wall. They are, left to right, Jose Andreas (flyweight), Donald Nasche (lightweight), Jack Osteen (featherweight), Buster Burrell (middleweight), Pee Wee Holton (heavyweight), Bill Anderson (light-heavyweight), Sam Bates (welterweight), and Raymond Kane (bantamweight). These boxers will move on to represent the district in the State Tournament. They are all wearing boxing trunks with "Ft. Worth" printed on them, and jackets.
