Description

Amateur boxers from all around the area are preparing for the 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. The Golden Gloves Seconds Committee handles the contestants during the district tournament. Discussing a point, left to right, are Walter Ullrich, Dan Coats, and Bill Evans. The men are gathered around the steps near the boxing ring. Mr. Ullrich is dressed in a double breasted suit. Mr. Coats is wearing a pinstripe suit and a coat. Mr. Evans is dressed in a double breasted pinstripe suit.
