    Description

    The Matchmaker's staff is preparing for the 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. They are charged with handling contestants during the boxing tournament. Left to right, on the front row, are Vincent Duross, Woodie Taylor, A. E. Johnson with his son, and F. D. Smith. On the back row are Arthur Huff, T. M. Hood, Bryan Gaut, Douglas Whittington, and Howard Crane. A sign in the background is advertising an ice hockey game between the Fort Worth Rangers and St. Louis. The entire staff is wearing suits and A. E. Johnson's son is wearing a shirt, jacket and trousers.
