President's Birthday Ball to aid infantile paralysis. Members of a North Side Swingster's square dance set, left to right, Red Smith and wife, Kathryn, Tommy Downs and Mrs. Novell Caldwell. Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Caldwell are wearing shiny, matching dresses while Mr. Smith and Mr. Downs are wearing reflective shirts and dark colored pants, both matching. They are all shown dancing. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition January 31, 1942.
