Description
Children at the All-Church Home have taken up knitting for the Red Cross. Fifteen of them are shown here, sitting in two rows (seven on the front row and eight in the back), working on individual knitting projects. Among the children is Billie Wartenmann, nine years old, sitting on the front row, fourth from the left. He is wearing a striped shirt and trousers with suspenders. Against the back wall, at the right, is a bookcase filled with several books.
