    Saint Joseph's School of Nursing freshman class officers are (left to right) Stella Mae Stacy, president, Jean Mercer, secretary, Helen Frank, treasurer, Edna Hudgins, reporter, Mary Annette Carter, vice president and Dorothy Calhoun, sergeant-at-arms. The women stand in a "V" formation holding lighted candles received with their caps at a graduation ceremony. The women are wearing nursing uniforms and are standing in front of a United States flag. This photograph appeared in the January 27, 1942 evening edition of the Star-Telegram.
