A view of the main street in Denver City, fast-growing municipality in the North Permian Basin of West Texas. the city is in Southern Yoakum County, approximately n the center fo the Wasson pool, second largest in the State, covering 55,000 acres of poven oil land. There are many shops lining the street. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition May 1, 1940.
