Among those attending the Silver Creek Farm's auction Tuesday, January 8 were Carl King, left, oil man at Tulsa, who maintains a herd of Herefords at Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Bill McSpadden of the Tierra Blanca Farms, Canyon, Texas which staged one of the good Hereford auctions of 1941. Mr. King is wearing a tweed three-piece suit with a medium-toned button up shirt and striped tie. Over this, he is wearing a wool coat, under which he is holding a cane. Mr. McSpadden is also wearing a three piece suit, along with a medium toned button up and a dot-patterned tie. They are sitting next to each other. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 9, 1942.
