Description
Linotype operators sadly put aside their paste pots and pica poles January 9, 1942 after using them for the last time. They're paid by the day now rather than for the actual amount of type they produce.. Here's W. C. McMahon, making history, or you might say, closing a chapter of it. Mr. McMahon is brushing over several sheets of paper neatly folded over one another. He is wearing a striped button-down shirt that is slightly dirty, a pair of jeans, a belt, and round spectacles. There are several posters hanging on the walls behind him that have seen better days.
