    The Junior Chamber of Commerce is holding an installation dinner for their new club president. Attending the event, left to right are Mrs. R. M. Bethea, Mrs. W. B. Swift, W. D. White, Mrs. A. L. Purvis and Mr. A.L. Purvis. Mr. Purvis, new president of the Jaycees, is being greeted at the event. He is dressed in a double breasted tuxedo. His wife, Mrs. Purvis, is wearing a dress with a lace collar and pendant necklace. Mr. White, of Dallas, Texas, is a national vice president of the organization. He is wearing a double breasted pinstripe suit. Mrs. Swift is a guest at the dinner. She is wearing a long-sleeve dress and a necklace. Mrs. Bethea is the wife of a Jaycee. She is wearing a sleeveless dress with a brooch. There is a mural painted on the back wall.
