Mr. and Mrs. Willian Monnig is celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. Mr. Monnig thanked his wife for 50 years of good food and good advice. Mr. and Mrs. Monnig are sitting on a couch surrounded by family. Two unidentified woman are sitting on either side of the couple. A group of unidentified people are standing behind the couch. Mrs. Monnig is wearing a dark-colored dress with sequin-embellished sleeves, a five-strand pearl necklace, a watch, a bracelet, a few rings including her wedding rings, and a corsage. She is holding a thin white object in her lap. She is smiling. Mr. Monnig is wearing a three-piece suit with notched lapels and a boutonniere. Star-Telegram morning edition, December 31, 1941.
