Description

John E. Jarvis, former minor league baseball pitching star who retired Wednesday as a member of the Fort Worth Fire Department after more than 30 years' service. Mr. Jarvis is sitting on a couch and looking down towards the floor. His is sitting spread-eagle with one arm beside him and the other resting on right leg. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 1, 1941.
