To cadets of North Side High School went the honor of being the first Reserve Officers' Training Corps (R. O. T. C.) unit in the city to purchase a defense bond. In the back row, left to right, are Eddie Engleman, Bill Adams, Colonel Bryce W. Massengale, commandant, and Bobbie Carnahan.
