Description

The High School Football State Championship game is being held at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. A crowd of 18,000 are on hand to witness the battle between the Wichita Falls Coyotes and the Temple Wildcats. Watching from the front rail of the stands, left to right, are Mr. and Mrs. John R. Nevius and Guy Rogers. The are shown yelling their lungs out as the Coyotes scored a touchdown. Mr. and Mrs. Nevius traveled from Evanston, Illinois to catch the game. Mr. Nevius is dressed in a hat and a suit with a light shirt and a tie and collar studs to anchor his tie. He has a handkerchief in his breast pocket and is wearing a ring. Mrs. Nevius is wearing hat with Persian lamb trim, a collared blouse, a suit of jacket and skirt, leather gloves, and is holding sunglasses. Mr. Rogers is an attorney from Wichita Falls, Texas and the father of Mrs. Nevius. He is dressed in a cowboy hat and a double breasted three-piece suit, light shirt and contrasting tie.
